Smart Honors Amazing Ka-Partners at SMX Convention Center Bacolod

Smart load retailers from the Negros and Siquijor Island clusters gathered today at the SMX Convention Center for a one-day Retailer Convention. The Smart convention, co-hosted by PLDT, holds this annual event to recognize the efforts of their “amazing ka-partners” in contributing to the company’s growth.

Smart Ka-Partners are the load retailers and vendors who make Smart retail products accessible to users in their neighborhoods or locality, such as those who own or manage sari-sari stores, grocery stores, and the like. Retailers can also be individuals selling these credits wherever they are, or mobile loaders.

This event among the highlights these ka-partners look forward to every year. Close to 1,000 participants flocked to SMX Convention Center for the Bacolod leg of the Smart Retailers Convention for the games, entertainment, updates and exciting prizes like gadgets, livelihood packages and cash.

Since so many of their retailers are gathered in one place, PLDT and Smart also use this time to update them of company developments, as well as the incentives and opportunities open to them.

Smart’s distribution partners in the area also had their respective information booths for their existing retailers and for those interested in setting up their own loading business.

Comfort, accessibility and convenience at SMX.

SMX Convention Center was able to provide ample space and facilities for the program, booths and set-up requirements. SMX’s Function Room 3, where the main program and sessions was held was spacious and comfortable for participants and the partner brands’ booths. The lobby also provided the space needed with activities of sponsor and vendors at their respective booths, the launch and the registration happening all at the same time.

The SMX events team – Smart’s venue ka-partner – also made sure all arrangements were up to par, making it a winning convention for all.
