Lookbook: Celebrity Kids and Young Royals

For holiday style trends, SM Kids took inspiration from celebrity kids and the youngest members of UK’s Royal Family, whom the world eagerly watches for their adorable looks and spot-on style. Kids like Harper Beckham, North West, Blue Ivy, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are leading the way and setting the trends. Why SM Kids has taken inspiration from them is not only for style, but their attitude as well.

The Comeback of the Classics. Trends come and go but the classics never go out of style. Prince George and Princess Charlotte prove that traditional children’s clothes are always elegant, especially when paired with a well-mannered demeanor. These young Royals are always neat in their classic clothes.

The classic look doesn’t mean boring. Not even! These are the details that are making a comeback and are here to stay for the long haul.

For Girls. Romantic details make up the look, like delicate floral prints, full voluminous skits, ruffles. For the holidays, ruffles are sure to be fun and festive with lots of volume and dimension and all the flair for drama.

For Boys. Look out for checkered fabrics and classic plain shirts. Corduroy is making a comeback and makes our boys look all grown-up like little gentlemen.

Fashion Twist by SM Kids: This is Where the Fun Begins!

Of course, we love the classics! But to take young style to a while new level, it has to be functional and fashionable. So, tadaaaa – LAYERING. Layering!

The resulting look is slightly mismatched, delightfully over the top, but strong on young independent style. WE TOTALLY LOVE! But, will kids love it, too?

To test our style looks (and inject in the fun), we brought in celebrity kids Noah Lamar Alcaraz, Gummy Carlos and the Concio sisters Julia and Talia, together with young fashion influencer Danielle Krystina and the winners of SM Kids Casting Call 2018 Dara Rubin, Raven Nielson and Ethan Suyo. And what fun we had with them! They certainly put their young creative imaginations to work.

Thanks for these kid influencers, we were able to put together a few looks. The verdict? THEY LOVE IT! And by their photos, they certainly had lots of fun.
